My story is probably very similar to yours... For years, and I mean YEARS, I tried just about every “find love” gimmick out there. I read every self-help book about finding or manifesting love, I tried hypnosis to make myself more open and appealing, and I found myself at a mountain bonfire chanting and performing rituals of calling in love. I went through the whole range of “attract love” exercises. (I even wrote a book about attracting love!) My experiences left me feeling a little more self-aware… but I was still single.
I thought I knew who I was and what I wanted but I was only seeing the surface.
There was actually an undiscovered deeper part of me driving my choices in men and in all the relationships in my life. Through my journey to find out how to find love, no guide mentioned or explained this other part of me. They only wanted me to change myself on a surface level to attract a man on a surface level. But I wanted a deep and meaningful connection and love with a man who wanted the same!
Something finally flipped on inside me. Beyond understanding my personality traits and childhood patterns, I needed a process to help me connect to my powerful, soulful self. I worked with a coach to explore myself and my desire for empowering love. This was the beginning of a program that would change my life and the lives of hundreds of other women. By truly understanding who I was at my core, I was able to be clear on what I wanted and who I wanted to be with. Once I became aware of and embraced and nurtured this other part of me, I was able to meet my husband and life partner, Robert.

ROBERT MALDONADO, PhD. is the President of Creative Mind Coaching. Robert is recognized internationally as a human behavior and relationship expert. He earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas. He has had a life-long interest in Jungian Psychology, including the study of dreams, mythology and comparative religion. Robert’s academic training includes neuropsychology, neurodevelopment, social neuroscience, and multicultural psychology.
